Kel and Emotions

Tammy: In Kel’s defense, she’s not bottling up her emotions or becoming dead inside: she lets them sink down deep. What she does prevents others from seeing her emotions on her face. Kel doesn’t want to give anyone the satisfaction of knowing they upset her, so she doesn’t let them see she’s upset.

The rest of the time, when she’s being as stone, or a lake, she’s clearing her mental decks for action; she’s preparing to be in the moment and not let anything that isn’t of the moment distract her.
