Submissions

It seems like Tamora Pierce will on longer post on Sheroes, but she does maintain an official livejournal, in which she, from time to time, releases information about her work.

RULES FOR SUBMISSIONS

  1. Feel free to submit information about any tidbit on Sheroes that I’ve missed, any information you wish to share from interviews or that you’ve asked Tamora Pierce personally in a book signing or from emails from the author herself, or from her livejournal.
  2. When submitting any information about the Tortall universe, please, please label the subject of your email in this form: Submissions: [Insert category/(ies) listed in this website that BEST fits with your main topic(s) of submission].  For example, Submissions: George, Aly.  Very simple.
  3. If you’re submitting information from Sheroes, you MUST attach a link to the original thread. In other words: I need a primary source. If you can cite primary sources for any other information (i.e. interview conducted by a website or online magazine or radio station, etc., livejournal) please include the URL if possible. For interviews conducted by yourself or questions you’ve asked at book signings, an exact transcript will be preferable.
  4. I prefer no attachments. If an attachment is absolutely necessary for some reason, just tell me about it and ask me if it is OK to include in the email, and I will consider the case.

RULES FOR ERRORS

  1. If you find any information concerning the Tortall universe that is in need of correction or update from my website, then please let me know.
  2. When submitting any errors in the website, please, please label the subject of your email in this form: Errors: [Insert title of article/post]. For example, Errors: Gender Roles in Romance. Very simple.
  3. Please attach a link of the article/post that needs corrections or updates. Thank you.
  4. I prefer no attachments. If an attachment is absolutely necessary for some reason, just tell me about it and ask me if it is OK to include in the email, and I will consider the case.

QUESTIONS

Q: Why can’t we attach stuff?
A: For safety precautions, really. I prefer not to get nasty bugs or viruses or whatnot. Paranoid? Perhaps. But better to be safe than sorry in these situations.

Q: Why do we have to label the subject of the email in that form?
A: Because it’s a good way to check if you’ve read the rules. Friendly warning: I will be less inclined to read the email if not labeled properly.

I’m afraid I cannot promise to always respond right away, but I will try to get to it as ASAP. But do NOT send me the same email over again if I do not answer promptly. Thanks.
