Welcome to Words of Tamora Pierce! This site is filled with canon information concerning the Tortall universe outside books directly quoted from Tamora Pierce. Most of these information are gathered from Sheroes, a discussion board the author has created about female heroes. In the future, however, it seems that there will be quite an amount of information from her public LiveJournal and other sources instead of Sheroes.
All information is categorized, so simply click on a particular category/topic to read info on the subject of your choice. To see what each category covers, please go to the List of Topics subpage.
To see all information pertaining to a character, country, fief, etc., visit Pages subpage. Each “page” is a condensed version of an encyclopedic article, collecting and summarizing all canon information outside of books related to a certain subject under its respective entry.
